Directly​ ​inspired​ ​by​ ​the​ ​traditions​ ​of​ ​steam bending,​ ​this​ ​chair​ ​uses​ ​unconventional  construction​ ​techniques​ ​to​ ​allow​ ​the​ ​material​ ​to​ ​react​ ​directly​ ​with​ ​the​ ​making​ ​process​ ​without  being​ ​bogged​ ​down​ ​by​ ​technical​ ​details.​ ​​ ​This​ ​chair​ ​relies​ ​solely​ ​on​ ​long​ ​grain​ ​glue​ ​ups​ ​to​ ​create  a​ ​form​ ​that​ ​leads​ ​the​ ​eye​ ​through​ ​the​ ​form​ ​without​ ​any​ ​visual​ ​disruptions.​ ​​ ​This​ ​simple​ ​yet  elegant​ ​construction​ ​allows​ ​for​ ​quick​ ​assembly​ ​and​ ​easy​ ​finishing​ ​without​ ​sacrificing​ ​form.  Available in White Oak and Ash with a variety of finish options.
